Guild Wars 2 is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) in a class of its own. As it is typical for the genre of MMORPGs, you can create your character using manifold options, including gender, size, eye color or even the coloration of his (or her) armor – and much more. Additionally, you can choose from a range of possibilities to design your own personal back story that will influence your gaming experience.

No matter if you choose the path of a classic sword-fighting warrior, a powerful mage, a cunning rogue, or any other alternative – the game world Tyria in Guild Wars 2 will present you with lots of adventures and enemies of all kinds. In dynamic events, you can get together with other players without needing to build groups and, for example, stand together to save a village from a bandit attack.

There is a lot that happens in GW2 – it is up to you, in which events you want to get involved! Additionally, Guild Wars also features classic dungeons, each with a unique story to tell. Group with other players to eradicate the dangers in these dungeons and capture loot like new equipment, gold, crafting materials and more.

Speaking of crafting in Guild Wars 2: Every character can learn two from a total of eight disciplines. You can become an armorsmith, artificer, a chef, huntsman, jeweler, leatherworker, tailor or weaponsmith. Depending on your choice, in time you will be able to craft better and better items like several kinds of weapons, food, trinkets or armor.

By combining different materials, you can learn new recipes. Alternatively, special recipes can also be bought from traders. Once you are good enough in your crafting discipline, you can just build outstanding armor, weapons and consumables for yourself – or sell them to other players who crave your excellent goods.
